Special Days

Today was a special day in the life of our minister at St. Luke's, Dr. Pat Kennedy. He celebrated his 35th year of ordination and his 10th year serving the church of St. Luke's. He was very fortunate to have his mentor, Rev. George Miller, to preach this mornings service and join him this afternoon to be a part of a celebration in Pat's honor. Pat expressed that it was a day for him of unbelievable joy. I believe it truly was a day of joy not only for Pat but a congregation as well. I feel blessed to have been a part of it and I'll mark it as one of my special days as well. God is so great!
