This weekend Trent and I went to Little Elm, Texas. We visited with Landry, Kristy, and a touch of Brett. Brett was involved in the State Wrestling Tournament and didn't get in until late afternoon on Sunday. Trent loves his yard so we went to the Neil Sperry Garden Show at the Arlington Convention Center. It was very nice but lacked the punch of flowers that I was anticipating. There were quite a few booths with BBQ pits and gadgets, different pavers, sun rooms, garden art, etc. I enjoyed the afternoon and weathered the wind and dust outside only when we had to do so.
Trent had forgotten his CPAP and his change of surroundings may have accounted for a rather rough weekend. I had hoped that he would really enjoy it but if he did, he never acknowledged it. In fact our trip home was rather empty. He slept quite a bit and had very little to say. Someday I'll quit expecting some gratitude when I do something or won't see the need to do just for him but for now I'm disappointed and sad.

Donna,
I'm so sorry your weekend wasn't what you expected. One of the worst feelings is disappointment, especially when it involves someone we love. I have this prayer taped to my computer so I see every day. It helped me come to a sense of peace in all of this chaos the last week. I hope it helps! If you ever want to make a trek to Childress, just to have somewhere to go, please give us a call and if we're in town, we'd love to see you!
Dearest Donna,
I have promised to keep you in perfect peace to the extent that you trust in Me.
Always,
Your Loving Father
Love,
Charla
