Another week passes and we hear nothing from the retirement/nursing center for Trent or Mom. Trent had another Doc appt. and once again, he's changed some meds. I think our hope with this change is to see if we can reduce the amount of pacing and attempting to leave. We started that regiment on Saturday. I felt like we reduced some of the agitation and pacing. We'll see if it was anticipated or real in a few days.
My week at work went okay with the light duty. I go to the Dr. tomorrow morning and we'll see what he thinks about increasing the work load. I hadn't had much pain, just soreness over the past week. Then last night at 3:00 in the morning, I woke up with my shoulder killing me. I got up to take some pain killers but it didn't really let up until about an hour and a half after I got up. Maybe I was sleeping on it wrong. I'm still in the recliner and I didn't think there was but one position really.
I'm getting very excited about my painting excursion in Eagle's Nest beginning the 6th of August. I may not be able to paint till my heart's content because the shoulder is not in shape for it. But the rest of me is ready to go and have 3 extreeeeemely restful days in the mountains of New Mexico. My work friend/painting buddy, Tammy will be my travel partner and we are sure to have a great time. We'll be staying with Sandra Mc along with the teacher, Rosemary West, and 2 other painters. Her home is gorgeous, right on the lake, and she's a wonderful, relaxed hostess. Sandy and I stayed with Naomi, Gail, and Winona (they put the painting excursion on) at Naomi's cabin last year. I haven't laughed so much since then. I can't wait!
