Trent was released today from BSA. We did manage to get some home health care to administer the antibiotic through the PIC line. They are coming tonight between 8-9 to administer and set up the schedule. Tuesday they will also change the bandage. Wednesday early we will go to BSA Outpatient for physical therapy where they will whirlpool the hand and change the bandage. We will set up Trent's therapy schedule then which will be daily for awhile.
He had a very anxious day and couldn't keep straight where I was when he thought we were going home. He can't hang on to the ideas of controlling the use of the right hand, such as not getting ice out of the freezer with the bandaged hand. He asks over and over what the PIC line is. I hope we can keep it from spreading or me getting it. We'll just keep at it.
Pray for me to be patient, more patient, very, very patient, please.

Glad to hear you are home. And also thankful that home health will be able to come administer the antibiotic. Hope that works well. Also hopefully once Trent is in his own surroundings things will calm down for both of you. You are always in our prayers.
