Last Saturday, Louise and I with families took Kesha, our 'traveling friend', to Palo Duro Canyon. It was a great weekend and Kesha was amazed at the sites of the Canyon.
This Saturday Kesha left for North Carolina and on to home in Washington, D.C. She was a traveling speech therapist that fills in at places that are needing speech pathologists. Travelers usually spend about 3 months, but we were lucky enough to have Kesha fill in for 6 months at the hospital. We sent the poor girl off with enough 'Texas memories' to last forever. Bless her heart! She was very gracious to listen to Texans brag about their state and always act like she was interested. We'll miss her and hope another opportunity comes up for her to join us.
