Today's Appointment

Today's appointment was rushed. I had to fly from work to pick up Trent. When we got there, the receptionist said they would get us in but that the Dr. was on call and might be up to an hour wait. Well, it was only 50 minutes. We rushed through the pertinent information and made some medication changes and wants to see us back in a week. He said we needed to talk about a short term goal and a long term goal. In the short term, we needed to try to find a way to control the anger and associated behaviors. In the long term, he wanted to know how long I could keep this up. I said I didn't know that I've lost my feelings of safety but that the Craig had said 6 to 12 months and I've already waited two. I asked if he might have any influence to expedite the process but he just referred me back to coming back in a week to see how the medication change might be working. And so we wait and hope that the aggressiveness can be controlled. Please continue to pray that Trent's needs can soon be met.
